Trailer Bridge executes military contract
Trailer Bridge has successfully completed its first mission under a ‘USTransCom Ports’ contract, providing the US army with stevedoring and port operations in Narvik (Norway). The operation supported the redeployment of US military cargo from Nato exercises.
As a prime contractor Trailer Bridge oversaw cargo staging, tally, handling and the securing of ro-ro and lift-on/lift-off vessels. 146 military cargo units were processed.
Chris Goss, Trailer Bridge’s vice-president for government affairs and projects, highlighted the team’s active on-site presence and precise execution throughout the operation.
The ‘Ports’ contract, awarded in 2024, positions Trailer Bridge among 30 companies that support US military logistics.
