TCS and Turkish Airlines form strategic cargo partnership
Tan Son Nhat Cargo Services (TCS) has launched its first cargo flight for Turkish Cargo, the freight arm of Turkish Airlines, marking the start of a long-term partnership. The inaugural service took place on 1 October 2025 at Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) after more than a year of negotiations.
Under the agreement, TCS provides full end-to-end cargo handling, including hazardous materials and specialised shipments, supported by IATA-certified infrastructure and training standards. The cooperation highlights Vietnam’s growing prominence in global logistics and strengthens Turkish Airlines’ presence in Southeast Asia.
TCS, a subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines Group, said the partnership is a milestone toward making Vietnam a regional air cargo hub, ahead of the opening of Long Thanh International Airport. (ah)
