Swedish Club expanding in China
The Swedish Club has entered a strategic partnership with Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance, part of China’s Ping An group, to expand its reach in the Chinese maritime market.
The agreement, the club’s first of its kind in China, aims to combine international expertise with Ping An’s local knowledge and infrastructure. Members will continue to access the club directly while also benefiting from support through Ping An’s nationwide network.
Managing director Thomas Nordberg said the partnership reflects a deep commitment to China, "the heart of global shipping," and will enable more efficient service. "Together, we can deliver solutions tailored to the needs of the Chinese maritime industry," he added. (js)
