RPM appoints Walt Piekarski CCO
RPM Freight Systems, a logistics provider specializing in finished vehicle and freight transportation based in Birmingham, AL, has named Walt Piekarski chief commercial officer, effective 13 October. Reporting to president John Perkovich, he will lead go-to-market strategy, demand generation and customer engagement to drive the company’s next growth phase.
Piekarski brings over 20 years’ leadership experience at Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Vantage Mobility International and DelCam Capital. "Walt’s deep automotive expertise and commercial insight make him an exceptional addition at a pivotal time," said Perkovich.
Piekarski added that RPM’s technology-driven, customer-focused model "perfectly aligns with my values." His appointment follows that of CTO Binu Panicker, strengthening RPM’s strategy to fuse innovation and execution in vehicle and freight logistics. (ah)
