Rad Propulsion, a UK-based developer of electric marine propulsion systems, has expanded into North America with a new office in Charleston, South Carolina. The move aims to support rising demand for sustainable, high-performance marine technology in the region as the company reported. The expansion builds on Rad’s existing cooperation with Zodiac of North America.

Simon Payne , sales director at Rad, said the US base will help strengthen customer support and accelerate adoption of the company’s technology. Rad’s electric drives and robotic control systems are designed to perform in demanding marine environments while cutting emissions and noise according to the company's information. (js)
