Offshore progress for KLN Project
KLN Logistics group (KLN) reports steady progress on the large-scale 'Wellhead Platform A' (WHPA) development in Libya’s Bahr Essalam offshore field. Acting as consortium leader for Mellitah oil & gas company, the group oversees the EPCI project, valued at over HK$10 billion.
The initiative, launched in 2024 and due for completion in 2027, aims to reinforce regional gas infrastructure and contribute to Europe’s energy network. Key fabrication work for the platform’s main modules began in mid-2025, marking an important milestone according to KLN. "This milestone underscores KLN’s capabilities and expertise in delivering complex offshore projects with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency," said Marco Oriolo, CEO of global industrial projects at KLN project.
