NCT [artners to enhance ro-ro operations
On 1 December 2025 Intercont (Cayman) Limited (NCT) announced a strategic partnership between its Singapore subsidiary, Openwindow and Cinco International Hongkong to enhance its shipping segment and ensure stable, multi-year cash flow. Cinco, a leading ro-ro shipping company, will provide assets designed for low-carbon operations, meeting the rising demand for efficient transport solutions.
Ro-ro vessels, known for their ability to transport automobiles and wheeled cargo with reduced energy usage, will feature advanced technologies such as LNG dual-fuel engines and solar panels, resulting in an estimated 30% cut in carbon emissions per voyage. This partnership positions NCT to capitalise on growth in new energy vehicles and e-commerce, promising approximately USD 118.25 m in contract revenue and USD 88.96 m in net profit. This move further solidifies NCT's commitment to a carbon-neutral strategy and enhances long-term shareholder value.
