Menzies Aviation has expanded its footprint at Sydney International Airport with the opening of a third cargo warehouse, known as M1. The 5,000 sqm airside facility brings the company’s Sydney cargo capacity to over 20,000 sqm across three sites, enabling annual handling of up to 250,000 t in a market exceeding 600,000 t.

Strategically located within the airport’s freight precinct, M1 offers direct access to freighter bays and is designed for temperature-sensitive and e-commerce cargo. Cathay Cargo and United Cargo are the first partners to start operations at the new terminal. With this addition, Menzies strengthens its global cargo network of 74 warehouses and 85 freighter handling sites, moving 2.4 m t annually. (ah)
