Luxcargo Handling: digital upgrade with IBS Software
Luxcargo Handling, the ground handling subsidiary of Cargolux, has partnered with the Indian logistics IT company IBS Software to modernise and digitise operations at Luxembourg Airport – one of Europe’s top cargo hubs. Handling up to 1.2 million t of freight annually, the company will implement "iCargo CTO", replacing legacy systems with an integrated digital platform.
The solution enables barcode scanning, real-time data capture, and paperless workflows, improving visibility, efficiency and compliance. "Partnering with IBS Software will allow us to leverage digitisation to deliver more efficient ground handling services," said Sébastien Bauce, EVP of Luxcargo Handling.
IBS’s Radhesh Menon added that the project will automate all air cargo transport in and out of Luxembourg and set new standards for digital handling across Europe. (ah)
