Leitz expands ecovium TMS use
Leitz Acco Brands has transitioned its international factory transport operations to 'TransRoad', Ecovium’s cloud-based transport management system (TMS).
The switch from an in-house solution marks a further step in the digitalisation of logistics at more than 15 European sites. At the German facility in Heilbronn, the company has used Ecovium’s 'Komalog' TMS since 2001. "We've had excellent experience with Ecovium applications at our Heilbronn site," said Steffen Werschun, head of inbound logistics at Leitz Acco Brands.
According to Lars Zimmermann, director of the product management transport division at Ecovium, the rollout reflects the companies’ strong collaboration and lays the foundation for further strategic developments. (js)
