Further to the Jinan Municipal People’s Government, Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport (TNA) is in the centre of a new Luxembourg–Jinan–East Midlands all-cargo route, its third international service with fifth freedom rights.

Operated by Atlas Air with two weekly B777F flights, the service offers up to 100 t of capacity each way. Imports from Luxembourg include salmon and auto parts, while outbound flights to the UK carry e-commerce parcels. The new link strengthens Jinan’s connectivity with Europe and follows recent route launches to Tokyo and Bangkok.

Airport officials highlight that the corridor enhances flexibility for cross-border trade in Shandong and East China, supporting regional supply chains. Looking ahead, Jinan plans to expand further into East and Southeast Asia and Europe, aiming to build a global cargo network for efficient aggregation and distribution.(ah)
