Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (Mol), TradeWaltz and the Suzuki Motor Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding at the Tokyo 'International Conference on African Development', to advance automobile trade between India and Africa.

The three firms aim to address challenges in automotive logistics between the two regions, focusing on digitalisation and decarbonisation as they reported. The initiative aligns with the “Japan–India cooperation initiative for sustainable economic development in Africa” launched earlier this year. The companies aim to "aim to contribute to the regions’ economic development together by leveraging their individual strengths," as they stated. (js)
