Hellmann Worldwide Logistics just announced that it has assumed operational management of the global central warehouse of Siemens Smart Infrastructure in Nuremberg, effective 1 June 2025. The facility acts as a logistics hub for production and commercial goods distributed worldwide. Its proximity to Hellmann sites enables synergies, faster response times, and secure handling of airfreight.

The step builds on a long-standing partnership: Hellmann has managed Siemens’ warehouse logistics in Bor, Czech Republic, for over a decade, a contract recently extended for five years. Siemens’ logistics chief Sven Markert said the takeover is a logical expansion of joint capabilities, while Hellmann COO Volker Sauerborn highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering quality-oriented solutions in the technology sector.
