Globe Air Cargo Switzerland wins Thai Airways GSSA deal
Globe Air Cargo Switzerland, a subsidiary of the ECS Group, has secured a GSSA contract with Thai Airways with effect from 1 August 2025.
The agreement covers daily flights from Zurich operated with Airbus A350 and Boeing B787 aircraft, connecting Switzerland to Bangkok and onward to Thai Airways’ Asian and Australian network. The focus lies on consolidated cargo, high-tech goods and pharmaceuticals.
This marks the first time Thai Airways has appointed a GSSA for Switzerland, and extends its cooperation with the ECS Group in Europe.
"This strategic partnership reinforces our position in the Swiss market and reflects the trust global airlines place in our local expertise," said Jean Ceccaldi, CEO of the ECS Group. The move supports the group’s continued growth in Europe and demonstrates its strength in delivering tailored cargo solutions through its global GSSA network. (ah)
