Freightos adds Garuda and YTO to digital platform
Freightos has expanded its WebCargo platform with two major airline partnerships, further boosting digital booking access in Asia. Garuda Indonesia Cargo has joined exclusively, offering forwarders direct eBooking from Jakarta and Denpasar to hubs such as Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, Sydney and Hong Kong.
At the same time, YTO Cargo Airlines – one of China’s top five carriers – becomes the first all-cargo Chinese airline on WebCargo, adding capacity on routes linking China with India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, with further expansion to the Gulf and Europe planned. Freightos EVP Joyce Tai (third from the left) said the deal strengthens the platform’s offering in Asia, while YTO president Hong Xiang Li highlighted the carrier’s drive to digitalise and expand globally.
