FCL expands trailer fleet
UK-based event logistics specialist FCL has added more 'mega dry liner' trailers from Krone trailer UK to support rising demand across live entertainment. Operating 45 trucks and 35 trailers, FCL handles time-critical transport of staging, lighting and AV equipment for events in the UK and Europe. Operations director Martin Cowie said Krone’s build quality and reliability are essential in meeting strict deadlines.
Accoring to Cowie features such as reinforced floors, a stowable loading ramp and load-locking systems ensure safety and efficiency during fast turnarounds. Driver feedback has also been positive, highlighting secure load handling. FCL now operates 17 Krone trailers, with further orders planned. Cowie said Krone’s equipment provides the flexibility and reliability needed to expand operations without compromising customer service. (js)
