DB InfraGo, a subsidiary of DB, has successfully transitioned its railway dispatching operations to a new nationwide digital control system. The switch is part of the 'Prisma' programme aimed at modernising infrastructure management and information systems. The system replaces multiple decentralised tools with a unified platform that allows real-time monitoring of infrastructure.

"We’ve renewed the heart of our operations," said Philipp Nagl, managing director of DB InfraGo. The new setup aims to improve coordination during disruptions. A fall-back option had been prepared but wasn't required, as implementation proceeded as planned. (js)
