The French shippers’ association AUTF has appointed Alicia Boissière, Head of Customs at EDF Group, as President of its Customs & International Trade Commission. She succeeds Clément Bascoul, with whom she had served as vice-president for the past two years.

Boissière, who spent eight years in a specialist law firm before joining the shipper community, is recognised for her expertise in customs, energy and environmental taxation. She aims to foster closer dialogue between shippers, administrations, logistics providers and customs representatives to build a more transparent and efficient customs environment. (ah)
