Blue Yonder has announced the acquisition of the US firm Optoro, a technology provider specialising in returns management, to expand its capabilities in warehouse and in-store returns.

The deal aims to strengthen Blue Yonder’s end-to-end offering for retailers, brands and logistics services providers, with the goal of cutting waste, improving transparency, and optimising efficiency.

Tim Robinson, the corporate vice-president for returns at Blue Yonder, said the acquisition enables additional features that help retailers manage growing returns volumes more effectively, whilst meeting consumer expectations. The move further positions Blue Yonder as a leader in comprehensive, sustainable returns management solutions, Robinson closed. (js)
