Blondel promotes Dumontet to head innovation
The Blondel Group has appointed Luc Dumontet as head of operational excellence and innovation for its industry business unit, a new role created as part of the company’s 'Logishift' transformation roadmap.
Reporting to Olivier Pech, Dumontet will drive improvement, collaborative projects and co-innovation in a unit that counts 950 staff and major clients such as Airbus, Dassault Aviation and General Electric. His remit covers the evaluation of new technologies, including predictive AI, robotics and connected safety systems, and the development of partnerships with academia and technology providers.
Dumontet joined Blondel in 2018 after senior roles in the food industry, leading projects such as the creation of a logistics hub in Rochefort and the rollout of robotic and pull-flow solutions for Airbus Atlantic. (ah)
