BGO building XPO hub in Madrid
BGO has acquired land in Getafe, Madrid, to develop a 15,000 sqm cross-dock and a 9,000 sqm logistics facility for XPO Logistics on a built-to-suit basis. Located in Gavilanes by the M-50 and near the A-42, the site sits in Madrid’s first logistics ring, offering strategic access for distribution as the company reported. The long-term lease will enable XPO to expand its warehousing, palletising and last-mile operations in Spain.
The project is being developed with Hispavima, BGO’s partner on other logistics ventures, and aims to strengthen BGO’s position in the Spanish market. Delivery is planned for Q2 2026, with Magna Industrial as general contractor. (js)
