Accelleron and Hyundai Marine partner on digital solutions
Accelleron and Hyundai Marine Solution (HMS) have formed a strategic partnership to enhance digital integration for ship management and engine performance. The collaboration will see HMS distribute two Accelleron solutions: 'LOREKA360° Tekomar XPERT' Engine, which monitors engine health, and Turbo Insights, an AI-driven analytics tool for turbocharger performance. These solutions will be used across HMS's fleet, including ships under construction, with plans to cover around 500 vessels.
The partnership will also integrate HMS's ship management system, ISS 2.0 and AI emissions tools like OceanWise to improve route efficiency and sustainability. Shailesh Shirsekar from Accelleron highlighted the benefits of combining both platforms for efficiency and cost savings. Bong-jun Choi from HMS stated that the partnership will provide ship operators with advanced insights, improving operations on both new and existing ships. Overall, the collaboration aims to boost operational efficiency, reduce costs and support sustainability efforts globally.
