AAL Shipping recently took delivery of and named the ‘AAL Dammam’ in the CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipyard. The ceremony saw the line welcome its sixth 32,000 dwt heavylift ‘Super B’ class vessel.

It was named by AAL Shipping’s head of IT, Jenny Gao, and will enter service immediately. Its maiden voyage saw it transport offshore renewable energy cargo from China to the UK.

AAL Shipping, a project, heavylift and multipurpose cargo carrier, was established in 1995 and specialises in sailings connecting the Asia-Pacific and Oceania regions to Europe, Asia and the Americas.
